Florida SEE is dedicated to maintaining a professional code of ecotourism ethics in order to encourage an awareness and stewardship of Florida's natural and cultural heritage by:
1. Endorsing compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding the protection of natural resources and customer safety. 2. Providing environmental education and awareness which encourage behaviors that contribute to the sustainability of Florida's natural ecosystems and resources. 3. Promoting professionalism and integrity within the ecotourism industry by providing and maintaining a certification/recognition program for ecotour providers.

 | REGISTER for the FLORIDA SEE Annual Meeting!The FLORIDA SEE Annual Meeting will take place on September 23 from 9:30-11:30am virtually.
Register today to hear updates about the FLORIDA SEE certification program and plans to revive the educational opportunities for FLORIDA SEE members.
The FLORIDA SEE board of directors has been focused on re-launching the certification program for ECO-TOUR Operators as an electronic application process. Join us to hear more about this program and assessor training. | Registration open- 2021 Ecotour Provider Webinar SeriesFlorida SEE announces that registration is open for their 2021 Ecotour Provider Webinar Series.
Presented annually as a member benefit of ongoing education, the Webinar Series provides an opportunity for members, and guests to continue online learning related to managing sustainable ecotour businesses as well as best practices when guiding groups on eco adventures.
Webinars are offered monthly from May through October, links to webinar sent upon registration. Topics are intended to assist businesses preparing for certification through Florida SEE.
Florida SEE dedicates their annual Webinar Series in memory of John Kiseda, FL SEE Founder and long time executive director who started the Ecotour Provider Series over 15 years ago when working in Lee County as an environmental educator.
